I know exactly how rich people live

8:30 a.m. – woke up, got dressed
9:00 a.m. – showed up at El Cerrito Community center, Son went for 1 hour lapswim in the deep swimming pool, I waited for my swimming instructor who did not show up for the 2nd time.
10:30 a.m. – got home, grabbed some doctor’s papers, headed for the nearest Labcorp’s office, which turns out to be 5 minutes’ walk from home. (side notes: Son was checking himself out in the mirror and before he even said it, I too noticed that swimming had given his keg some definition lately).
11:00 a.m. – had blood drawn for various tests (annual check up). Arm hurted. Still hurting as of right now.
11:30 a.m. – showed up at Wooden Charcoal and ordered 2 types of korean bbq and 1 korean stew. On the way to this restaurant, Son saw a car with this bumper sticker. It’s cute, we fully endorse it. You can buy it here. Goats.com actually has really funny t-shirts, I like this one, for example.
12:30 p.m. – full, sleepy, drove to Petfood Express to pick up some cat food.
1:30 p.m. – got home, went straight to bed for a nap with Fatty cat.
2:30 p.m. – woke up, got ready for Dentist app.
3:00 p.m. – Both Son and I checked in for teeth cleanning & check up
4:00 p.m. – got out, drove to PetVet to buy some Vetri-Science Nu-cat pills for Crippled
4:30 p.m. – got home, surfed the web, got onto this Bakery section of Yelp! and landed on the Crixa page. Son and I both agreed that going to Crixa for dinner is a good idea. (We had been there before, it’s actually a pretty & warm place for a low-key sort of date or just a place to sit, chat, and enjoy some very good cakes – alone or with someone).
5:00 p.m. – arrived at Crixa, ordered 3 types of cakes, a pot of tea, and sat there reading & eating for 1 hour (we had “tunnel of love,” “Fatima thighs” and “bourbon cake” – I recommend anything chocolate from this place. Fatima thighs is super nutty, I wouldn’t call for it again, but I don’t think it was done badly, it’s just not my thing. Son likes the tunnel of love, probably because there was a heap of whipped cream to round it off).
6:00 p.m. – got home after me finished screaming about the problems of the democratic party acting like hissy bitches who love to turn on themselves so that they end up fighting both their own fellow democrats and the well organized + united front of evil republicans. Unnamed person’s point of view is that both parties are the same, and there should be ground for a 3rd party that is truly different.
7:00 p.m. – i’m finishing up this post with unnamed person looking right over my shoulder and censoring (and spell-checking for me) what I can say on my own personal blog
tentative plan for tonight: (not sure)
I’m a bit sad that this vacation is coming to an end. I told Son a few days ago that I felt like we were on our honey moon these past 2 weeks, we had all the fun, all the relaxation, and lots of time to just enjoy each other’s company. We had not gotten into serious fights, that’s the true indication of us both being stress-free.
